The Howling Hound Dogs are an acoustic roots washboard trio and their toe-tappin', hand clappin', finger-snappin' shows have thrilled audiences throughout New England. Their jam creates a unique approach to swing, classic country, upbeat blues and funny original songs. Howling is required at all Hound Dog shows!

Paul Loether

Paul Loether is an "old school" style folksinger and finger style guitarist whose expressive vocals cover a range of traditional and contemporary folk music. His usually topical originals are well-crafted and often feature pointed and/or humorous lyrics. Paul has performed as a solo artist throughout much of southern New England and the Washington, DC area. For many years, he was lead vocalist, guitarist, and stand-up bass player for the Maryland-based band Sliver Strings MD. Find him on YouTube @Paul-to5mg.

Jordan Asher Cavalier, Jeremy Graeff, and Marshall Fischer of Lämning are musical explorers, seeker of song, and far flung travelers. Lämning uses music as a universal human language, spanning tongues, time, culture, and history. The band's sound is rooted in Scandinavian and early European music, but reflects their own musical backgrounds. Lämning seeks to resurrect echos of a shared human past through music. Stop by and enjoy these two veteran musicians who mix it up any which way - Make Music Old Lyme 2024 brings you Kipp Sturgeon on multiple instruments and Gary Buttery rocking the tuba! Kipp keeps life interesting by playing in many styles and many settings while taking part in duos, trios, and solo gigs as well. Gary has performed throughout the world playing in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Oktoberski Hall in St Petersburg, Russia. He serves as an adjunct professor of Music and Director of Bands and Jazz Ensembles at Connecticut College.
