John Brown is well known across southern and eastern Connecticut as a solo artist and as the leader and principal songwriter of the band Back Porch Pickers. He also forms half of the duo Whiskey & Aspirin. While overall John plays a mix of traditional country and classic rock tunes, his solo work focuses mostly on heartfelt originals -- songs that reflect on the continuing trials and tribulations of life in all its stages. Paul Loether is an "old school" style folksinger and finger style guitarist whose expressive vocals cover a range of traditional and contemporary folk music. His usually topical originals are well-crafted and often feature pointed and/or humorous lyrics. Paul has performed as a solo artist throughout much of southern New England and the Washington, DC area. For many years, he was lead vocalist, guitarist, and stand-up bass player for the Maryland-based band Sliver Strings MD. Find him on YouTube @Paul-to5mg.

Bob Bradshaw, Sue Mead, and Kipp Sturgeon make up Three's A Charm, formed after a Nightingale's Pickin' Party. With guitars, banjo, ukuleles, harmonica, melodica, drum and steel drum, bass guitar, and Kipp's whistling, they perform tunes of the genres of folk, pop, jazz, country, and calypso ranging from the 1920s to the 1970s.
